Went for the 1st time with my mother for lunch and I must say that they did not disappoint. The service was great as well as the food. I will most definitely be going back. I did not get a chance to try the highly recommended pie but I will the next time I stop to eat lunch.
Every now and then, you run across a restaurant that is more than its food. The Rosebriar is that kind of place. Don't get me wrong, the food is delicious...and they are nearly world-famous for their pies...but when combined with the atmosphere and the people, The Rosebriar is good for your soul. Ps. The Reuben sandwich is the best!
I have experienced eating at the Rosebriar inside, getting take-out, and have also used them for a couple of catering jobs. They have always gone above and beyond to make the food amazing, as well as the overall experience. Melissa, the owner, makes everyone feel like family and she makes the best pies!!! The owners and staff go over and above to make sure every order is to perfection. Nice selection of lunch time meals. Found this hole in the wall while waiting at the DMV. Service was great and the food was delightful. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with macaroni salad. It was all so yummy and a healthier option.

Every Southern town should have a restaurant like The Rosebriar. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the service is efficient and cheerful. The food is delicious and the menu consists of new items as well as old favorites that have been enjoyed for years. Melissa and her staff also prepare take out meals on a weekly basis, and wonderful side dishes during the holidays, which is a big help for older customers and those hosting large holiday meals. 'The Briar' is well loved in our town and most days the restaurant is filled with happy customers. Marian McSwain
